2024 Woodruff School Homecoming Alumni Tours at the Flowers Invention Studio

Join us for an engaging afternoon at the Woodruff School! Experience guided tours of our state-of-the-art facilities, including the Flowers Invention Studio, a student-run makerspace open to the entire Georgia Tech community. Located in the Wepfer Design Commons, students in the Flowers Invention Studio are empowered to "own" the space, where student volunteer Prototyping Instructors (PIs) are available to help train and assist on various projects. The studio is unique in that students lead others in the use and maintenance of resources, promoting responsibility, safety, and community ownership in a supportive environment.
To celebrate 2024 Homecoming, our Woodruff School Alumni Tours will be hosted every 20 minutes, starting at 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, with small groups exploring both our labs and the Invention Studio. This is a fantastic opportunity for alumni, families, friends, supporters, and prospective students to engage with the Woodruff School community.
